How about a 2nd option, just so you can turn hostile animals neutral/friendly? Useful when you already have a pet, and so my poor druid doen't have to keep killing the stupid things that attack him.

Just cast blindness on your self and let your other domineted pet kill it.. What you cant see cant hurt you

sry, to get back on topic:

I dont think this would work too good, since you would need a dialog to promt you everytime you try to dominate an animal, and sometimes there just isn't time for that.
