Just some suggestions here for these spells. Have the maximum enhancement that can be granted be dependent not only on caster level, but the enhancement bonus on the weapon or armor if any. Also, have the Magic Weapon and Greater Magic Weapon spells grant temporary Attack Bonus to <a href="http://www.nsrealm.com/boards/viewtopic ... 8">missile weapons</a>. I also believe that this re-balancing of spells can allow these three spells to be an exception to the currently existing "only-one" rule to weapon enchantments.
<b>Magic Weapon</b>
Grants melee weapons +1 enhancement bonus.
Grant missile weapons (box, x-bows, slings) +1 attack bonus.
<b>Greater Magic Weapon</b>
Maximum enhancement (for melee weapons) or attack bonus (for missile weapons) that can be given dependent on caster level:
1-4: +1
5-8: +2
9-12: +3
13-16: +4
17+: +5 (highest possible with this spell)
The actual bonus granted is dependent on the currently existing enhancement/attack bonus on the target weapon:
None: +1
+1: +2
+2: +4
+3 and higher: +5
<b>Magic Vestment</b>
Same functionality as Greater Magic Weapon. The enhancement bonus on the armor or shield along with the caster level determines the highest enhancement bonus that can be granted by the spell:
caster level 1-4: +1
caster level 5-8: +2
caster level 9-12: +3
caster level 13-16: +4
caster level 17+: +5 (highest possible with this spell)
already existing enhancement: maximum possible with Magic Vestment
None: +1
+1: +2
+2: +4
+3 or higher: +5
Greater Magic Weapon and Magic Vestment
Stupendous! I agree on this one. This would balance out a lot of issues.
Also...make darkfire like this instead of rolling 1d10 just bracket off damage in 2point increments and based on item lvl.
