Any chance of increasing the award radius for xp when an enemy is killed? I have noticed with an archer that quite often I can kill things but gain no xp because the target was too far away when it died.
It was made smaller so you'd have to be close enough that you can't just kill the mobs without triggering the AI. It was an exploit fix.

I must have missed those mobs, everything I have attacked at range runs for me the moment I fire. If I open with a critical or the mob has low hp it dies on the first hit and I miss out on the xp. I guess from now on I will have to run in close, wave my arms around maniacally and get their attention before attacking.
And what's with all the psychic mobs? They all know I have launched an arrow before it hits them?
I totally hate the psychic abilities of the mobs too.
I would think that increasing the size of the xp range or making an exemption for archers would be a good idea.
That is really stupid. I guess there is no reason to play and archer then. That might have been an exploit fix, but now the archer classes are crippled....
One way to help the arcane archer out (sorry to the other archers) would be to make some of the mobs damage reduction something like 10/+7 instead of the 10/- which I assume it is at the moment. This would allow high level arcane archers to bypass the reduction. It would also allow shifters in the epic gargoyle form to bypass it as well.
Hmm what am I thinking?? If this happened the world would be overrun by the new all powerful shifters.... ... ... I knew I could not say that and keep a straight face.
I like the idea to puyt damage reduction on stuff instead of damage resistance...just as long as it's x/+6 or higher, so that clerics can't just cast Greater Magic Weapon.
I've been having problems with the xp radius as well, though mine wasn't from arching, it was from spells. I don't know why, but sometimes enemies just run the opposite way from you, and that final spell hits them just outside the radius...

YEAH, I can finally use my gargoyle shape for other usage than the looks
