Faction NPC Helpers?

Faction NPC Helpers?

Why not give players some escourts when they go out and raid other faction cities? I think it would be fun to be able to take a cple of your faction guards with you on a raid.

Say with 1 at lvl 16, 2 at lvl 18 and 3 at lvl 20. (once you hit lvl 21, it wont matter since you wont be there anymore lol)

It could be set to be either a random guard type you get, or you can choose. And if you were killed, they disapeared (so peeps dont have to worry about chasing down stray faction guards once the "master" is gone)

Just think it would be a bit interesting :wink:

Interesting...

In AO there is already a job (dragon attendant) that allows you to take the various slaves along with you as a henchman, one at a time. You can even equip these henchmen with gear. I usually try to grab a giant slave and put a club, dodge boots, and chain armor on them before I head out as a lowbie. I'm guessing this is a taste of what's to come...being able to (with certain jobs) take a low-end NPC and eventually high-end NPCs out with you adventuring. You could even allow players to play around with their gear and give them better ones. And in case you're wondering, when your (giant slave) henchman dies they drop all the gear you've given them (including potions, which they know how to use)...so having a set of henchman items on you once/if this is implemented would be very useful.
