For Paladins

How about enabling the Paladin to call a Celestial Companion? Not as a spell, but an automatically recieved feat at, say, level 5 paladin, and each 5 or so levels there's an upgrade in the type of companion called, also, since paladins are only one alighment, there's no need for lots of possible summons.

Anyway, just a thought, but here's a list of some possibles:
Lv5: Aasimir Warrior (like the ones in NC)
Lv10: Lantern Archon (like the ones clerics summon in NC)
Lv15: Half-Celestial Warrior
Lv20: Celestial Dragon (White Dragon with an effect of 2 on it)
*Note, this is PALADIN levels, not overall level, though it would make sense for Champion of Tyr levels to count towards this total as well.

All I got, any ideas for Epic Levels?
Oh, by the way, these wouldn't be just regular versions of the creatures summoned, they'd be toughened up to reflect upon the one who summoned them.

I like the idea but it would create an imbalance among warrior class. Pally are really good as they r in NS4. They already have major buff like freedom, death immunity, Bullstr, catgrace and the awesone HA spell. Adding to them a good summon would make others warriors really usueless.

Pally/Cleric build is made for that purpose btw. Letting a pure Pally summoning would be a little bit too much, but thats just my point of course.

A good point, in order to keep balance it would either need to be scaled back or limited to something like once/1-2 days (thoughts turn to an item, similar to the subrace items), possibly introduce a quest to make the higher lvl ones useable, in order to keep it from being a PK exploit
