Fletching in the field
I think that it might be worth a consideration to allow fletching not only at the dedicated places but also when out in the open.
It is really annoying when you're exploring the huge world in NS and always have to find a way to get back to a friendly civ to restock on your arrow supplies.
It really puts ranged combattants into a bad position when it comes to exploring the world.

Wait 12 hours by the fletching table to make more arrows then run across half the land to get back to where you're fighting then run back when you run out.
Or
While waiting to craft more arrows you are killing monsters and after you finsih a group you make some more arrows there to replenish the ones you just used up. Then you just move onto the next set of creatures.

I almost forgot about this thread which was kinda talking about the same problem.

Here's my opinion of what needs to be done:
Keep the limitations on the bows. great. grand. it makes sense to have them. But REMOVE the timer on arrows, it just sucks to have it. You don't make a melee only able to use 99 strikes with their weapon every 12 hours do you?
As said in another thread, people have a tendancy to associate missile weapons with melee when they are two completely different systems. but you CAN reach common ground with them:
a longsword = a longbow, ONLY IF you treat them the same in all respects, including the number of strikes that can be made with them.

My issue here is that you can stock up at your home base but then you wanna go explore and if you venture far into the enemy land where there is no base you can find yourself fighting for a very long time and bang, running short on arrows, sorry lads, gotta take the long way home.
Now I can live with the disadvantages of having to spend money/xp on kills as opposed to melee chars, but at least it should not force me to make boring trips to a friendly base to stock up on my ammo.
At least it would be good to have more neutral bases out in the open, or travelling far into enemy faction territory will always be unnecessarily hard for an archer.
