Proposal for Spell DC/Saving Throw issues

Post by satantrik »

I have no idea if this is even possible, but this is a house rule in my homebrew D&D campaign to keep multi-class saving throws from getting out of hand:

A class's Good Save (+2 at first; +0.5 every level) only receives the initial +2 bonus at character level 1. Taking the first level of a class after character level 1 receives the usual +0.5 to that save every level, but not the +2 boost for level 1.

Additionally, your first prestige class level receives its +2 boost for its good save/s -- but only your first prestige class.

Obviously the second piece to this house rule won't really be an issue on NS4 (multiple prestige classes).

Feedback, anyone?

I think you'd have to use a hak for that. Pretty sure it's hardcoded.
