Any thoughts on disabling sound fx and voices while deafened?

can that be done? would that potentially cause any audio-card crashes (I know i've had some strange issues around changing volume while playing a game)

also, what about blind/deaf functionality issues from NS3

- if you're deaf, does friendly bard music still give you buffs? (like ns3) or did they fix that?
- if you're blind, can you read scrolls?

I'm sure there are other things that don't make sense too, back on NS3 i had found/thought of some others...

Yes on nr. 2.
I happen to know some servers where everyone has lots o remove blind/deafness scrolls to remove blindness=p

it's a "Magic" scroll
