Changing up the potions...
Changing up the potions...
Do you think it might be in the realm of possibilities to change either the bulls potion or the cats grace to some other potion bottle type?
I mean there are hundreds of different types of bottles out there, why must we have two potions use the same bottle?
Or any for that matter(use the same two that is).
It has been stickin' in my craw for the past 4 or so years now.

One is Bubbling Green Potion and the other is Faded Green Potion. So where's the confusion?

Re: Changing up the potions...
the problem is i'm color-blind lol. (seriously i am, and have to put my mouse over them to figure out which is which.)

Re: Changing up the potions...
They are the same color. Graphically, they are exactly the same (but we all already know this).

And you can tell this how, without putting your pointer over it?DM_Kim wrote:One is Bubbling Green Potion and the other is Faded Green Potion. So where's the confusion?

Re: Changing up the potions...
Seriously? If you have toons that depend on pots you'd think you would craft them yourself and orgainze them in your inventory as not to run into this problem of being not able to distinguish them.
Just basic backpack management should suffice i would imagine.
Changing pot appearance!?!? lol

Re: Changing up the potions...
I have to agree here... put em on a quickslot and remember: left = str, right = dex
It's only annoying from lvls 1-10 when you actually pick them up and can't id them till you hit a shop (or a toon that can id) at which point you have to stack em.

Alkapwn & Bargeld have answered very well.
A little pack organization, a couple of quick slots and presto.. even a blind man could hit the right keys.. whether he'd be colorblind or not

Re: Changing up the potions...
u have free slots on quickbars for potions? I sure don't.
I put no points in lore on any character. Once I get a few levels I carry around a lore helm and a legend lore helm and that pretty much ID's all but the best gear. What's annoying is picking up potions to hand over to my lowbies and constantly having to sort. It's not a big deal, obviously, but I'm with the OP here, makes no sense at all to have them in identical bottles and add an extra step.

Re: Changing up the potions...
It has nothing to do with pack organization. Even when ID'd they still look IDENTICAL.
What part of that is not being understood?
It is a pain in the balls to have mouse over each of those potions in order to get your pack organized.
Personally, I would rather play than "organize" my pack, if I want to play a game of organization I can pick up any of the tycoon series of games.

Well I don't have balls so it's not a pain to me.Lorkar wrote:It has nothing to do with pack organization. Even when ID'd they still look IDENTICAL.

And how do you organize your pack without moving your mouse over each item?? You have some kind of magic system??
I guess this is a guys thing, that can't tell the difference between Bubbling Green and Faded Green. It take us GIRLS about 30 maybe 40 second to organize our packs.
So the GIRLs win out on this one...
