I know this one has probably been beaten into the ground, but as a pseudo-Noob I'm curios to hear where we might be at in regards to adding more chat channels; specifically separate Guild chat channels.

If we need to send a petition somewhere to add it into 1.70 let me know where to sign up :)

irc channels?

Can you not just create a room if you whant one? There is teamspeak also where guild rooms are awailable :p

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

No, Heeza is talking about the in game chat channels. Heeza, Bioware has said time and time again that 1.69 was the last patch. There will never be a 1.70. So there won't be any official support for additional chat channels, but there are some neat things the NS4 Devs can do with the new scripting functions/events in 1.69. It's certainly possible, but I don't know where it would rank as far as priorities go.

There is a Team Speak server Cely set up, it has separate channels for guilds and factions and would be a good alternative.
