It's not a big deal but it would be great if we could have UV icon to see when we have it on and to know if it was dispelled.

There is no Icon per say, but PC's do get the Visual Effect that looks the same as See Invis or True Seeing for the duration of UV.

maybe with the new patch we could use one of the new visual effects to differentiate between seeinvis effect and uv

I notice that the "darkness" i put up is lost on transition yet the effect is up because the monsters don't gun for me. However, it's hard to tell when it runs out if you're not focussed on the purple puff that happens when it does so.

Is this a graphics issue with my computer or is it a game engine issue? Is there a video setting to tweak to correct it?

nah it happens to everyone (well me at least so im making an assumption)
If you look carefully you will still appear concealed even if the affect is gone (transparent that is)
once you are no longer transparent darkness is lost.

A real bummber if you have ii on too :( then you have no idea

Yes, whether intentionally or otherwise, if you have both Improved Invisibility and Darkness on you and someone hits you with Invis Purge (probably any other dispel as well), then it strips BOTH the darkness and invis.

Attack something to drop the invis portion
Activate darkness
Run around in your skinnies, cuz no one can see you

Good:
Activate racial conceal, displacement, etc (non-invis effect)
Activate dark

I believe this has to do with the way the darkness visual effect is applied to an object. There are several anomalies that I have noticed occur with it. The visual disappears to the user on screen transition, but still appears to others and the actual darkness is still up. The darkness visual also on occasion tends to lag in moving to others viewing it, so they do not always see it on their screen in the location it actually exists.

Similar to above, invisiblity sphere is applied to a character and can 'lag' behind. Laufer's monk speed actually causes him to pop out of the front of the invis sphere every couple seconds, when running full speed.

I removed the AoE fix for further testing.
