Can it be made to by-pass paralyzation immunities?
And how about giving the Assassin the ability to use invisibility according to how many levels they have, say Assassin level/2?
Or giving them greater cats grace and greater fox's cunning.
Maybe tokens for additional sneak damage?
Maybe scalable AB and AC bonuses along the lines a pure class bonuses?
The coolest thing though would be the ability to teleport within the line of sight.
Line of sight means just that, so no teleporting into areas that couldn't be reached by walking there. No teleporting across transitions or through closed doors. And no teleporting when holding a relic.
Maybe make it a 30-40 foot radius. Say once for every 5 levels per day.
More Assassin ideas...
the bioware greater sanc thing is probably the best idea so far (it would let you get out of combat so you could death attack again). have it replace the invis spell i think they get.
but the problem seems to be that the worst feature of the d.a. cant be fixed... 20 minute long paralyzation. during a raid its better than a pkill because you basically remove that toon from play until the timer runs out or someone runs over to fom.

You mean the *best* feature.but the problem seems to be that the worst feature of the d.a. cant be fixed... 20 minute long paralyzation. during a raid its better than a pkill because you basically remove that toon from play until the timer runs out or someone runs over to fom.

You have to wait for the "victim" to drop out of combat in the case of a failed attempt. And then you would have to win the initiative roll for a second opponent, providing he was not already engaged in combat. The Death Attack will not work on anything engaged in combat, immune to sneaks or paralysis. Which in the higher levels makes it useless due to a considerable number of people with FoM.disastro wrote:the bioware greater sanc thing is probably the best idea so far (it would let you get out of combat so you could death attack again). have it replace the invis spell i think they get.
