It uses shortswords, basically because the option of adding 9AC from a tower shield is great if the mobss all decide they hate you.

Your weapon focus for this doesn't matter. You can swap to a shield with any warrior class at any time for defense purpose. You just lose a 2-3 AB from focus feats and gain 8 or 9 ac. That's better than expertise/improved. WM is the only exception to this, as they have a lot more ab for focused weapon.

excuse me. I shoulda picked my words more carefully. Easier and creative are not the same. Work smarter not harder i always say. Perhaps since you like to spend ur time coming up with builds that have no point in the real world i should call you a loser. Or perhaps since you like to come up with complicated builds that give you two more to hit and 3 more ac cause you squeezed it out by taking just the right amount of classes, i should call you a cheesy builder who doesn't appreciate simplicity. Or since you play girl classes i should call you gender confused. In the end it is all about preference. I don't call names or call you out, so i would appreciate it if u didn't do it to me. Each person has his/her own preference. Just because the preference isn't yours just makes you small minded and bigoted, to call it out.

Again thanks Jmana for the build write up. My idea was having a ranger wm. massive damage and using a weapon not everyone uses. I could make a dual wield ranger rogue. But i already have one. was trying something new.


If anyone can make a ranger/wm who uses a double sided weapon and is useful, I challenge them to do it. I have thrown the build out because i don't want to waste anymore time on it. But if anyone else wants to waste their time to come up with it, and prove me wrong go ahead.

I have one ranger/wm build using dire-mace, which is very powerful, but I won't share it with you... you'd better figure it out yourself, or just quit to build such a build. or at least quit to ask for any changes of the current ranger class.
