actually if ur spot is higher than theres and ur a elf u will allways see em. and u would have a balor. horrids . hellball. lcouds. al sorts of aoe that is gonna not need to target them.
remember it only clears yer action if u target em
oh yeah your also autoquickened so if he does hips as u aoe and for some reason u don't see em then they won't get far enough away for them not to take damage.
I can hear ir now.
waaa waaa waaa what if I can't target him.
then run away. if he's hipsed theb he is walking. if u run then ur faster and there for escape wow what a novel concept.
I'm not going to say more on this topic cause its turning into a how to kill sders for noobs.
I don't see a single ''good'' player on here complaining.
mabey that should tell u something.

what you say about aoes is entirely true, they are (logically) an excellent weapon when you don't know exactly where someone is, but that's completely irrespective of skill checks. what i'm saying is that pretty much everything everyone has said about spot vs hide skills is moot because of the action queue bug.
In fact Kromix has said about the most intelligent thing in the thread:

you dont have to target a SDer to beat him...

Weeeelll, about a hipser walking, I have a monk/SD, and he can go *slightly* faster that a normal person that is un-encumbered while he is hidden. When I turn on my job speed boost, I can actually go a fair bit faster than an un-encumbered person at their normal speed.
