Since the riding feats will be given on character creation, existing characters will not have these feats. Will it be possible to give the feat to existing characters using the GiveFeat command? If it can be given, then set up an object (hitching post) or NPC (Hostler) in Avendell. Characters can interact with whatever is set up, it checks to see if they have the feats and if they do not, the feats are given. This would allow all to have the new feats. If it cannot be done, well, time for new walking shoes anyways.
or, instead of just giving things away for free (cause who does that)..if you dont have the feats you have to quest for them. perfect opportunity for a quest right there
As far as I know there's no GiveFeat command, and we dont' plan on putting the feat on a player skin... current level 40s will have to de-level if they wanted the mounted feats.

so basically...since it doesnt look like theres gonna be a wipe....if you're not a monk or some class that is speedy already, you're toon now sucks and you probably have to start over...heh, so why not wipe
