Overall some of the best AC you can get is Deflection and Monk AC. Works vs. touch attacks *and* when you're flat-footed.

Not so sure about that because our pure monk Sandy gets knocked down a lot by those Undead Sentinels even when I give her Shield of Faith for +5 Deflection AC.

they get to apply their full attack bonus against your (usually reduced) touch ac.

so another +1 or +2 from shield of faith aint gonna make much of a difference against those guys (deflect doesnt stack so if the monk is wearing any +deflect gear then only the highest applies)

Your touch attack ac is jsut your ac minus your dodge aka tumble, dex etc isn't it?

And you touch ab is just your ab - any weapon enhancements and weapon focus's etc.

Actually your Touch AC is your AC minus your Armor, Shield and Natural Armor bonuses. Basically if they can touch you or your armor or shield they have succeded. The only way to avoid being "touched" is to dodge.

AB buffing spells, divine power, faith, battletide work toward your ab on a touch attack aswell, hence why a well made Cleric can harm anything, unless immune to negative energy or necromancy school.
