If you want no restrictions play in LA. That is what it is for.

I'm not try to tick anyone of by continuing this but just to answer what Kirg said...
why don't AO have paladin in their midst, why has TC no rogues, why SL no rangers, why why why
Um... I just thought this was for rp'ing reasons like when paladins were removed from AO it was beacuse they thought that pallys would exactly worship dragons.

I understand most of the cut backs to MA because they simply dont fit in with the RP faction but as Ragnareith said I dont see why we should be shut down because of the Pale Master when things like Travel Domain (as I stated before) suits MA RPing style. Also yeah I wouldn't mind a reason other than "We have PM's" like Ragnareith said i personally see them as a AC equivalent to RDD's with a few extras added in at later lvls if you want to sacrifice it.

Look as I said before I'm not trying to tick of any DM's or Devs because I know they have said no. I just wanted to say what I wanted to say.

Paladins have been removed because they were too good a combo with Sorcerers and RDD. It was possible to use them in Beta if you started in Sleeth. At least thats what I think is the reason.

before there was nothing limiting AO. LA was supposed to be the faction where you could use any base class...but AO did it better since you could make RDDs there. Paladins are a very powerful class especially combined with RDD and sorc got the boot :P

Alright, my next question is:
Are changes never made to class availability for factions?

I understand that if I want to make a travel character I can just play LA- that is what LA for... but: I could also play AO, RK, SL, and NC

It makes sense to me that the 2 highest relic-scoring factions also happen to be the least restricted in class/alignment, and the 2 lowest relic-scoring factions also happen to be the most restricted in class/alignment.

I think that in the case of these most restricted factions that are also the least powerful, I think that if good RP reasons combined with good Balance reasons- At the least, the suggestion should get some thorough consideration and or explanation for rejection.

Lets give MA travel.
If any faction embodies magical travel it is MA, but it is only 1 of 2 factions that is restricted against it.

I can't think of any overpowered character that cant be made in another faction would come from MA having travel domain.

I understand that making changes to faction restrictions is not something the devs want to promote, but I think this is one very reasonable exception.
