The Black Marsh maps: There are three maps that are almost entirely unused except to get to the cave.
What's the cave? I've heard there's a dragon there?
Badland Crypts (Lost Crypt, Catacombs, etc): I went with my LA cleric and was underwhelmed. I was expecting much harder foes given the bandits, malar, and werebeasts I had to fight to get there.
Unfamiliar with, I'm assuming this is different than Haddon Mirk.
Haddon Mirk Ogres: They're a nice surprise, but the maps could end with something that gives players a bit more incentive to go there.
The caves end with a boss who drops a pretty good two-bladed sword.
The Arachnid Lair: Another nice surprise, but I always expected something more there.
Never heard of the place.

Graveyard and Badland Crypts are a bit of a disappointment after the banits that is true. However for the LS its the right kind of CR, they come from the other side.

And yes the Ordean Ogres indeed have a nice surprise at the end.

Now Arachnid Lair could use some nice addition. Maybe make it so you can get to the bottom of the hidden tunnel from there through a hidden passage. Would explain those nasty spiders in the bottom too.

Sounds like you do know what's in the cave. explore the black marshes and find it.
Badland Crypts (Lost Crypt, Catacombs, etc):

i guess you haven't played SL or LA much then.

I'd definitely vote for some more goodness in the Arachnic Lair, my RK gnome found it an awesome diversion when the underdark was still a bit hairy, but the black hills orcs had become boring (and i didn't feel like going to the mausoleum 'cos it's a bit cheesy).

Arachnid Lair is the place with that annoying Spider Queen right? I had a fighter down there once, got poisoned to heavy encumberment and had to walk back to town to get it removed...
