The other day there was a ranger with a group of ns chars trying to get the relic from us drow, and my cleric has high spot, but even with the flag i had trouble spotting her, so it is possible to get ur hide high enough to hide from most high spot chars.

well when vindur was lvl 25, I had lvl 30+ chars with high spot and true see on, but yet they still could not spot me
. So it is possible to get higher hide than spot, just gotta know how to make em .

About the Relics
Well this is my idea. I know that getting all the relics is a challenge and I was thinking that every time a faction successfully captures all relics after a certain amount of time say two days in game time your faction gets the 50% bouns xp and on top an extra 5% bonus xp that's permanent. After two days have passed in game time all the relics go back to the cradle. So eventually every time your faction successfully captures all the relics you get 5% bonus xp that's permanent, but only goes up to say something like 15% bonus xp that's permanent. I know that it gets frusterating once you get all of them only to find that you now have to defend against an invading army. Well just an idea.

No, because that penalizes players who don't want to go on the relic hunts. And no one should trot out the old "LA iks the biggest faction with the most defenders blah blah blah" arguement here as jobs are now in 4 of 7 of the factions.Red-Mane wrote:Been thinking on What could be the benefit of holind your own relic against aggressors..

Any bonus for retianing a Relic is a penalty for not keeping
At least one Dev/DM (Zing?) has expressed an interest in bonuses for keeping Relic, personaly I see it as a nice system which takes away the flavour of a Faction if they do not appease there patron god (via Relic)
Given the interests and likelihood of something happening this system penailses those who have no jobs, high level charactors more so than low.
Hey, how about an inability to "Level Up" until to retrieve a relic, now that'd be hell nasty
