*you get a +4 to hit enemies that are prone after knocking them down. The initial knockdown attack is made at a -4ab penalty.
Knockdown dc is determined by total ab, so make the knockdown attack on your first attack, then leave the rest of the attacks as normal attacks.
Anyone know where i can get a script that automatically clicks knockdown on the first attack every round?
Two-Handed Silly?
Improved Knockdown effectively gives you a +4 to your knockdown DC because it increases your effective size by 1.
Let me illustrate by way of example:
Medium size creature with +10 AB.
Attempts KD on size Medium: Rolls 10, hits AC 16. Disc. DC is 16.
Attempts KD on size Small: Rolls 10, hits AC 16. Disc. DC is 20.
Attempts KD on size Large: Rolls 10, hits AC 16. Disc. DC is 12.
Those same rolls with Improved KD would look like this:
Versus Medium: Disc. DC 20.
Versus Small: Disc. DC 24.
Versus Large: Disc. 16.
Weapon size has no effect on KD attempts. It does, however, have an effect on disarm attempts. And, FYI, unarmed attacks' weapon size are the creature's weapon size -2. So a medium size creature's unarmed attacks are size T (tiny) and a large size creature's unarmed attacks are size S (small)...and this is, of course, only if Bioware didn't overlook this. Let me illustrate with a simple list:
Large attempts to disarm Large: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -0.
Large attempts to disarm Medium: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +4.
Large attempts to disarm Small: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +8.
Large attempts to disarm Tiny: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +12.
Medium attempts to disarm Large: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -4.
Medium attempts to disarm Medium: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -0.
Medium attempts to disarm Small: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +4.
Medium attempts to disarm Tiny: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +8.
Small attempts to disarm Large: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -8.
Small attempts to disarm Medium: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -4.
Small attempts to disarm Small: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -0.
Small attempts to disarm Tiny: Disc. DC is "AC hit" +4.
Tiny attempts to disarm Large: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -12.
Tiny attempts to disarm Medium: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -8.
Tiny attempts to disarm Small: Disc. DC is "AC hit" -4.
Tiny attempts to disarm Tiny:Disc. DC is "AC hit" -0.
