Aye, the RP event in question was short and to the point but the point may not have been well thought out by the DM, that said i do not think he meant said RP to cause this sort of impact nor do i think he meant it to cause all of RK to stop their free leveling in DH. DM interaction doesnt always have to be concidered so seriously. If the DM had intentions on enforcing this wouldnt you have heard of more such RP skits since then? Red=Dead in pvm (and pvp for some) So until the day comes that you walk into the dwarven plane and Ragnar walks up to you with a smile and an ale out to you.. Kill 'em all!

Actually, the whole micro event stopped short because of the initial shouts of 'DM revenge' - the whole thing went down the drain. Period.

I would appreciate it very much that folks stop ascribing to me ulterior motives such as those mentioned here in this tread and elsewhere - these are all based on self-centered assumptions and essentially on nothing.

I had a whole micro event planned, with a begining and an end. I never finished it - because players decided that this was a DM revenge thing, and then found myself having to explain that it was not and whatnot. It was those players (meaning those involved) in this case who simply soured the whole thing. There was no point in continuing it afterwards.

And to put it frankly, I was not inclined to continue it anyways because of the way the players involved had soured things up so much and essentially threw mud in my face.

(Yeah - that'll teach me from running micro events, eh?)

But of course, this then must mean that I did not plan out the thing - naturally. Yeah. That's it.

And now, because it has been decided that it was not DM revenge after all, then I *must* have done this because I "got tired of free leveling" and what not? Please - enough already!
