Books of knowlage, why do they unequip your weapon and shield? can this be changed not to do so i lost a item earlier today because of this. the item was replaced ( thx to you agian for that you know who you are) but the issue remains and if not careful will cause the loss of more said items.
Guild dyers, is it possible to add non sellable dyes to them of your guilds colors so that when guild members are away they can update their colors on the fly. this would also cover the new cloaks that are not yet dyed by the dyers. i personaly like to show my guild colors at all times this is not allwase possible if one of my toons is in ave or the like and short on funds for a ferry or dragon. perhaps a dye wand instead of the botles to save on space and they can be non droppable/sellable.
on the subject of dyes if a dm or dev could look into why our helms come out as chrome instead of the 2 chosen colors i would appreciate it.

mmmmm...
1. a logical suggestion would be to be sure your inventory isnt full, (make mules, and if they are full then make MORE mules !
(yay for more stuff !!!) ....this way when you use a book you wont risk dropping items you are wearing because there is no place for them to 'drop' in your inventory.... just like another recent thread where someone asked about eye color of their toons
--i am pretty sure there are more Glorious things the devs can be working on besides things like this that probably dont happen very often and now that it has been brought up i hope that everyone will try to remember not to use a book when their inventory is full.....I have had a similar thing happen to myself when i was in the middle of a relic raid and i equipped a staff to buff with -- my inv was full and not realizing i ended up dropping my axe....so there i was trying to drop useless crap just so i can pick up my main weapon...
......coffers and mules are your friend...

When it isn't a first time you use a book you'll probably know that you need a place in inventory. But there are some people that have never used a book before and unequiping might be an unplesent surprise for them. Maybe avoiding unequip would be a good idea. Wouldn't change anything to me and wouldn't do much difference to any of the people reading this post. But there will (hopefully) be new players that could have a significant loss over this. And it could be avoided with no big effort.

1. it is dangerous to walk around with a full inventory for all sorts of reasons .....
A. a good piece of equipment drops and youre out of space
B. you get disarmed and because of your full inventory your weapon will be guarenteed to hit the ground
C. you swich weapons during a fight ( a staff to buff or pull outa 2 handed wep for laughs) there is a chance that the weapon u initially had equipped will fall to the ground.
D. dye-ing i believe unequips items
E. using stat books
there is a new player help section on the wiki, if this is not added there it should be ( the wiki was added long after i joined so i never bothered to read the new player help
)
for anyone unsure of where to find the wiki, go to the NS4 main page and click the link on the right that reads ns4wiki...

I have had the custom disarm script fire if you drop a weapon (due to full inventory or just dropping it manually) while 'in combat' (which could mean just firing off a single spell) also causing the weapon to sometimes un-id itself, and becomes unusable until you rest.
but yeah, especially for shield-users or heavy-armor using bards, you need a good chunk of inventory space empty for de-equipping or switching shields, don't wanna be dropping that +6 shield in the middle of combat!
