Blight Mages
ok, believe it or not this idea was spawned from the whole nuclear project thread, but this one is actually serious.
It seems that with all of the seemingly limitless knowledge that the mystal ascendency has, they dont do much with it. what im proposing here is the adding of a new job to the MA, the order of the Blight Mages(or plauge bearers, or whatever you might call them).
This job would entail collecting various creatures, plants, biological samples and returning them to the labs, and additionally testing the products of the order on the various creatures surrounding Garagoth(kobolds seem like a likely test target).
The purpose of the order of the blight mages would be to engineer and test plauges and diseases to employ against their enemies. a few later missions for this job might involve actually transporting samples of the plauges to enemy faction cities and releasing them, this would give factions an entirely new threat to be worried about aside from the relics.
However, one who joined the blight mages would not gain bonuses or powers of any type(well, maybe resistance to disease) but would instead gain access to a store that sold vials of pathogens, these would be usable as grenade like weapons and would have varying DC saves(the more expensive the pathogen the higher the DC save, and some would have to be pretty damn high seeing as any high level characters are going to have absurd saves), areas of effect, durations of contamination, and attibuted effects, the more powerful the plauge, the more it would cost(this would give MA players a reason to spend money, make the pathogen vials expensive!!!).
An individual would not be able to join any of the other jobs of the MA once joining the Order of the Blight Mages as the order is incredibly secretive and demanding of dedication(also, having fiendish aura and a supply of diseases at hand would be kinda lame and overpowered).

The problem would be making these vials only usable by those specific people otherwise make an MA character get the job done and have that one buy tons of them to hand out like candy, the possible exploit may be severe. Something like this would need a lot to go into it.

also script them so that even if they do get dropped they can only be used by the proper character name Script the character name into the item.
