Vendors

Not sure if this would be a coding nightmare or just impossible but I had this idea. Is it possible to give guilds their own vendor? He could offer items to the public as well as act as a mule for members.

So if someone from outside comes to the vendor may offer the rapier of pain for 12k but if a member talks to the vendor he will offer the same rapier for say 50 gold or whatever small amount.

Now i can go a little crazy and say each guild vendor gets a small outside booth in aven. Even as I see price lists showing realistically its kinda tough in game to coordinate transactions, who is on when etc. but the vendor would always be around, and not just weapons potions,scrolls etc. soon we could start price wars together

Again I have no idea but the selling of items to the vendor can only be performed by members (or just officers) as to replenish his supply

Off the top of my head I am not sure if any kind of server reset would erase all his inventory or not.

For guilds - yeah, that'd be pretty time consuming and probably won't happen. For factions however, faction specific vendors and items have been on the books for a while - just haven't been able to get to it yet.

Ok thought as much but figured I would ask.

Although it would be even better if the guild vendors represented their home city, kst’s vendor would be a dragon DD vendor could be a balor (what was that balors name from game?) and tss’s vendor could be a passed out hippie

I mean, you're still welcome to stand out there in the town square with a guild vendor PC and vend your little heart out!

Ok, where are the vendors for the Duergar Fortress???? I can't seem to find them, perhaps I am busy cointing my coin......
