Instead of my 12/4 druid/shifter being attacked by nose picking goblins when all he wants to do is walk to the other side of the map, maybe they should check my lvl vs theirs, and go run off and hide.
This should help with epic level players wiping out lowbie areas, as they would have to work a lot harder for that 8 xp, chasing them all over the map as they run in fear from the nasty character.

8 exp? It's 15 exp at 25, and it only goes up from there!scruffyspellslinger wrote:Instead of my 12/4 druid/shifter being attacked by nose picking goblins when all he wants to do is walk to the other side of the map, maybe they should check my lvl vs theirs, and go run off and hide.

Violence will not be tolerated. Surrender or be destroyed.
The way the exp system is set up right now, with there not being any epic level areas...once you reach level 26+ you get the exact same exp for killing a rat or goblin as you do for killing a dragon or upper lever demon.
That is why you see level 30+ characters killing rats and such.
Hopefully once the epic areas are opened up that will give all those higher level players something new to do.

Re: Cowardly mobs
Cowardly mobs would help the problem, abolishing the whole "minimum xp" nonsense would fix it entirely. Once a character has something like twice the hitdice + 5 of the mobs CR, victory should be worth nothing.scruffyspellslinger wrote:This should help with epic level players wiping out lowbie areas, as they would have to work a lot harder for that 8 xp, chasing them all over the map as they run in fear from the nasty character.
