Crit lost in the portal Abyss (help Dm's)

Post by Alustria De'lore »

Nietzche The Undertaker was my crit i was leveling, heading from gargoth to Aven, the portal from under the hive tunnels to duergar caves was the one i went throu, i got throu, then noticed one of my party hadn't came throu, so i went back throu, it said "connecting to server" then it droped out... now i can't load the crit... i try but get the 'enter nevertwinter/Exit" every time.. yet every other crit works.

Could u fix please? :)

DV and i discovered that if you can get a DM to kill you at that dialogue and hit respawn... it fixes =o

mabe jump on ithe IRC channel and see if any DMs are around that can help you out
or USE THE DM CHANNEL with another char. its hard for DMs to seperate the crap from the dm-help-shouts unless you send it to them in their own channel =P

DV and a couple other DMs have been working prety hard fixing chars today lol

Only spent roughly 7 hours at it last night :)

Actually I've refined the technique to kill and rez followed by porting them to a location outside the loading stage. Respawning doesn't work most of the time.
