The inherently egocentric view of Ryddwillow is hard to argue with. Don't assume that AO jobs will ever be completed or that any level 40 tokens will ever be made for AO's players.

Well for the sake of balance and fairness, I think all jobs should be removed from all factions. isnt that what we strive for here on NS4 Balance?

If exploitation is involved with the uber areas then the Developer should change the uber areas instead of what is a bunch of crap.
So you want to disable a low lvl spells due to some arses farming? Ban them for a week take their gear and give uber areas that take 20 toons to kill them FOM.
Someone cheats they cheat--simple, This a PvP server, Did I miss something on punishment here? Then get with it, 1day is nothing, a week is something else for the double loggers and triple loggers, because they are dedicated.
Give the uber areas FOM since it is a lvl 2 and 3 lvl spell. Hello!bugged in a way that was being used to farm epic stuff or something. So yeah, exploited crazily. I suppose it was specific instances used intentionally. But, its probably on the bottom of the devs to do list, though if they could, say, change it for the drider shifter power or something similar, or even a higher dc grease on one target, with DC based on conj focuses and w/e. Would let us use it, rather than leave us with those bloody grues eating all of our spells

Regarding balance; given what has been stated in other threads as of late and upon review of old the balance that is being sought might have less to do with a specific individual build and more to do with unique factions being competitive with each other.

Meaning, hardly a balance with TS faction champion vs other factions?
DwD, Palemaster, RDD, Cot (Pally), Assassin, Doesn't match up vs those faction champions.? Oh, my Lokey has the answer and do ask him to (get) the secrets, since he played them soooo many a times.

Balance doesn't trump fun. But we find balance more fun than not (because we play all kinds of different half-ogres).
And we try to be open about what we're doing. Jobs have plenty of supporting structure, it isn't that much to do code-wise. Fluff is always painful to write though. Rektor left some good outlines (others involved in making that). The big, bad hurdle is testing. Others are is it something fun linux or I want to do with our time, and do we actually have the time to spend on it while keeping a server up and fun in other areas.

There is a feat that Druids get for free at like, level 2 or 3 i think, that makes them IMMUNE to... grease, vine mine, entangle... prolly something else that i can't remember..
Why not just add this feat to "Boss" type mobs and restore the spells in question to what they were?!?!?
I know for a fact, 1st hand experience that it only takes a few clicks of a mouse to do this very thing...

unless its bio AI features to AoE's that are doing strange things and not the basic spells themselves that can be blocked.

The exploit is an AI problem. Takes a lot of digging to find what's specifically going wrong. One of these days.
