You guys are so funny it's unreal. For being such an uber builder Rufio maybe you should learn what stacks and what doesn't. The absolute best part is the more you claim it is right the dumber you look. Even if the numbers worked, which they don't, I also told him to make it. Keep going though, plead your case, I know many are entertained by this. I am sure should you ever make a real point a DM will notify me. Nice try though guys. Hahahahahahahahaha.

Cite specifics or you have no case. I've already proven it has 27 bab.

and even with extened at 7th lvl
and that much chr, its still not gonna be able to complete its buff cycle
either way nice try but still not gonna happen
that would be the biggest waste of any book ever, i know i wouldnt sink anything into it

So this was a hypothetical build from a discussion about hypotheticals and now we're trying to translate it into something that could work.

EDIT: But I guess it does theoretically work. There are better ways to get a strength toon to that AB and AC in AO though.

I didn't make the build to be effective. I made the build to have 70 ab and 80 ac with a scythe. That was the entire bet.

and as far as buff duration goes: the short term buffs we have are:
Extened divine favor (20 rounds)
Divine Power (10 rounds)
Divine shield (10 rounds)
War domain power (15 rounds)
Extened Haste (14 rounds)
Extended Prayer (34 rounds)

Buff order: (everything else first, bulls, cats, etc) prayer, divine favor, War domain, extened haste, divine power, divine shield.

You have 9 rounds of a full buff before divine power drops. Quite lying to yourself.

OK, for everyone out of the loop, someone from RK (I guess psiber now) bet mining a +2 book that you couldn't build a 70 ab 80 ac scyther in AO or RK, with the stipulation that it HAD to be completely self-buffed. He asked me if I could do it, with no restrictions besides the above. He told me buff duration didn't matter and all books were fair game, so I built him one

As far as I'm concerned we win the bet.

You guys are right this is a bit amusing to sit back and watch. However you want DM involvement, here it is.

The original bet was between Psiber and Mining, with the context that Mining needed to create this build.

I didn't make the build to be effective. I made the build to have 70 ab and 80 ac with a scythe.

And for the record, i have what 2 AO toons lol
i'm more concerned about what i can work with in RK
keeping The Brethren name out there
the recent string of nerfs have hit me rather hard
which, i'll work around, think i said it earlier, anything you nerf on 1 toon
just makes another i have stronger, but this post is rediculous really
was a good laugh none the less

I have more screenshots to help as well, being at work means I can't post anything though. The main point mining is trying to ignore is I told him multiple times neither his word or a DM's word that his math worked would do, he had to make it to prove it. I tell you what, if you are dumb enough to make a toon using 6 +4 books and come within 1 ab of the 70 i will still give you a +2 book because I got you to waste 6 +4 books. I also having logging turned on and can provide the text of probably the whole conversation to a DM should it be requested, I will save the file tonight in case it's needed. Other than that this thread has provided about as much humor as it's going to from the TSS geniuses and I will let it drop on my end as TheEdge requested. Have fun ranting all

it certainly lasts at least 10 rounds unextened (1 turn = 10 rounds). That is the duration in the change log (I think there is some controversy about whether they can be extend or not, but from everything I can tell, they can be). I use them all the time. Still works, even unextened you would have 8 rounds of 70 ab 80 ac. They would have to last like 2 freaking rounds to not work.

and it certainly isn't 1 ab short, especially if you can't even say why it is 1 ab short. I don't have to post my screen shot of the in-game test to prove that it has 27 bab again do I? i can even highlight the line where it says Base Attack: 27
