i was personaly insulted and attacked in by 2 differnt people today on the boards. i would like their posting privliages removed until they find a way to communicate without personal insults.
all i said was get over it and stop crying. nothing the staff hasnt said before many a time.
i dont think their response was needed or in line with the commandments of the server or the rules of etique on the boards. locking their topic is not enough.

"Reread my post you twit. I clearly stated that your in game behavior/actions had absolutely nothing to do with why I do not like you. The reason is simple your posts are often illogical and insulting when insults are not called for. You criticize people ,all the while you are spelling incorrectly, even if the intent of the persons post was clear. You degrade people often. I will try and reply to this the best I can without flaming you.. although it will be very difficult. Here is the problem:
Every time there is an honest attempt at making a post you have to post some sarcastic or flaming nonsense. Sorry, but it gets really old after a while. Yes, some people get frustrated over your childish antics when they should just ignore them, but the constant barrage of them really gets on people's nerves.
Maybe it would be better if you were removed from the boards unless you can start adding some constructive posts instead of aggravating people. Just a thought.

I'm going to toss my 2 cents into this one. It is not directed to any one in particular, but to everyone from player, to dm to dev and anyone else I might have left out.
I have often said here and elsewhere, even in game at times: "It is not what you say, but how you say it.".
Some have a skill in writing whereas others don't. Writing a series of words so that it flows, is an art form. Like some are able to play the guitar, others can sing, a few have this skill with the written word.
As with any art form the more it is practiced the better one becomes in it. You can be very direct, point blank, straight up and just mash words down which usually get miss-read and the actual intent behind them is not seen. This can lead to misunderstanding, rants and flames.
For example: One could say, "F*** off and go to hell". This, of course, would insight the slinging of insults, passionate ranting and flames. It may also have an effect of the recipient to feel hurt insulted and ask themselves why they bother thereby discouraging then from future communication.
However, with some practice, some thought with the use of different words with a different attitude, the person reading them actually wants tp pack a bag and looks forward to the trip. "I understand, however, I must ask you to take leave at this time. Perhaps a place with warmer weather might do you some good.".......
