Pick Pocketing can i have some clarification plz

Ok after using my death attack to paralyze someone today he chose to mouth off at me in tells so i started to pick his pockets - 42 times the dm said.

I was told from now on 1 or 2 attempts then move along. I was completely unaware that there was such a limit on the use of a skill on NS4.

Can i get a 100% answer on this as far as i can see if im going to put 43 points into a skill i should be able to use it as often as i want , and the fact i paralyze u means maybe you should log out so i dont get to pickpocket you 42 times.

is there a limit on trap laying ? can i lay 50 traps in the darkforest ? i mean where is this going to end ?

I have been here 4 years now as some of you know - particularly DM's and i am so upset at the fact that people cry and things get changed.

i have seen this over and over again - i took an almost unused skill and got use out of it and already there is complaining.

I mean the other day to dm's were testing - TESTING ONLY the assassind POSSIBLE new attack and there were ppl on shout immediatley complaining that pure class bonuses are wrecking the server - i mean comon plz.

there IS no build that can beat everything - he has a 50 dc fort save insta kill att make a paladin or COT gee the NC unique defender has a 54 fort save its not impossible. He also had less than 400 hp and u can smite him once or twice depending on your build and he is dead.

All i can say is plz stop crying.

After being paralyzed by that death attack, which is permanent or nearly lasts forever, for me you are still in combat. And in combat it is forbidden to pick pocket. So be glad the DM didn't do harsher things with you than only pointing out you used that underused skill 42 times.
You don't find that excessive? Sheesh...

I consider that just a start for anyone who starts to cry or complain in in shouts and/or tells. If anything, kudos for using a widely ignored skill. I remember Slaves picking my pockets on many occasions with their HiPSers. Did I complain? No way!!! I dealt with it. Fezz is right.... people complain and cry way to much here. The 42 times was a result of the crying by what is said. Well done!!!! (I am just glad that wasn't me on the recieving end )

thats the most times i want to see someone pp another player. granted its not covered under the pk rules but 42 times can be covered under the harrassment rules. i don't care if they talk about your mom....5 is your limit and your limit is 5.

Thanks tep - 5's the rule than 5's going to be it, though i think im just going to delete the char and start again use the points on something more worth while. all i want to say is that in roughly half the attempts i do i get between 30 - 60gp seems almost 1 in 2 attempts it takes money the others it goes for items - 43 points to take like 100 gp and maybe 1 or 2 items is not worth it.

Too all who know. This was my doing, my "crying", that caused this and I actually didnt intend to change any rules. This wasnt the outcome I was looking for. I was angry at the fact I was paralyzed first then pickpocketed, and being a still fairly new player to this server didnt think of logging out, for as a point it would seem like a chicken tactic. Kinda like chugging a heal pot, but thats a differnt topic and im not here to discuss that. What happen after that only the DM and the other toon and I know about what was said, and therein im not saying nor seeking correction because it was a minor roadblock and had to find a way around it. Had I NOT been paralyzed I would have been fine with it and would have tried to do something about it. Everyone has an opinion, so get your shots in while you can and get over it. Im sorry it happened this way but at least Im man enough to admit it and come to terms with it. If I can be on neutral terms with the toon that this happened with then so be it. If not then I guess thats for them to decide.

You are VERY wrong there. I was pick pocketed in the Angmar Wastes right outside of the Hive in the cross section. This was shortly before the summer months. I killed the little halfling, although it was with some effort. There were two players present, both Slaves. Maybe they do not play anymore, but they were Slaves none the less.

In theory at least you should get your stuff back if you kill the person that PP'd you.
