Epic Kobold form and the merging of + to hide items

Just a quick one here. I have a 14 druid 17 shifter who is using a rogue mantle (+7) hide , crafted boots (+7) hide and a catsuit (+7) hide.

For some reason none of these hide properties merge - my hide skill is 67 inside and 71 outside wether i have 1, 2, 3 or none of these items equipped. Everyone i speak to says its strange the bonus should merge.

Is this true - or the bonus was never meant to murge ??

Oh 1 more thing (sorry )i have taken undead shape but when i lvl i can still take monk for example - what happens if i take the last 9 lvls as monk. I am unsure becasue the wiki says to QUALIFY (which i already have) for epic shapes like undead and dragon u must have only druid and / or shifter lvls. will i still be able to use undead shape ? or as soon as i take 1 monk i lose it.

Take the level of monk and tell us the result.

If you can't use the epic shapes anymore get yourself killed and lose the level.

lol good luck with the shifter m8, i got 5 bucks that says the character sheet is wrong when your shifted no matter what it says.

The items DO merge BUT only the highest bonus for any kind of bonus is counted, including those bonuses you get for the new shape. The epic kobold gets +10 hide/ms so in order to get any hide/ms bonus from an item, it would have to have a bonus greater than +10.

As for taking a monk level, it won't let you. It should force you to delevel if you do.
