bard song question
on the table of the improved bardsong the buff song bonuses only go to lvl 30 is there more to it or is it capped at 30? i ask this because the curse song has increases all the way to 40th level. just seems odd that the buffs stop at 30 but the penaltys go to 40
also is there a pure class bonus to the song or bard spells like pure mages get?

Also from my understanding the "pure" bard bonous would be the uber debuffing with the level 40 bard song .... possibly the best debuff in the game.
gives more incentive to go full bard rather than just taking a few levels.

The buff stops at 30 because the bonus it imparts is powerful enough as is.
I can only guess that Curse Song extends out to 40 while mirroring level 30 Bard Song because debuffs are given a heavier weight then buffs when determining such things.

yeah, the duration definately WAS shortened since pre-wipe... before the wipe i could buff in NS, hit song then run to the Menzo temple get back to crossroads before it wore off, now it wares off upon reaching the temple.
But still, all my bards since the wipe have never run out of songs yet, bards still rule (except if they get slammed by rapidfire damage) especially if they're crit/sneak/stun/paralyze immune ;P

My guess is whatever Dev made the changed decided 5 minutes per song with the epic feat was plenty of duration, and they went ahead and made the change of their own volition.
Them not noting the change is unfortunate, as it has happened before. But, the duration of the song is still quite hefty. If one of our illustrious Wiki editors has it in them, they can feel free to post the change to the Wiki when they have time.

I cant really recall a major issue with Lasting Inspiration that has arisen in the past year and 3/4's.
So I find it difficult to believe someone would arbitrarily make the change without there being an issue at hand.
Its not like LI does anything on its own. So it cant be a balance issue.
It doesn't add AB, AC, HP, Stat bonuses, Speed, extra attacks, extra spells or spell slots, nor does it grant extra feats.
It can be dispelled. The curse song can be done away with by a lesser restore potion. Is this an issue that can be revisited and possibly polled among the playerbase.
