i lost my dex bonus!

this is a reflections story as told from the point of view of a wood elf named manhunter

i read a +2 dex book at some time in the past
i later read a +2 int book
due to a miscalculation on my part i went back to lvl 11 when i read it
(apparently i was at 4500 xp over lvl 12 and i thought i was 5500)
i gained the +2 int but i lost the 2 dex from the previous book
( i lost 3 dex, 1 point that i had gained at lvl 12, and the 2 points from my book)
auril tried to give me a new book but it said i could learn nothing from studying it.

someone online at the time mentioned that there have been issues with int books and subraces with int modifiers.

or maybe it was the loss of the dex point i got at lvl 12

anything that could be done to fix it would be most appreciated

Have you tried to get your lvl back to see what happens then? Just a thought....
