Bugs with upgrading crafted items

Just found out you can de-level yourself by upgrading new items. Since it doesn't tell you how much it will cost until you do it, it can take you by surprise. Here are some MA Crafted Imbued Leather boots that were upgraded twice. They seem to have a slight glitch in them though.

When you put in the item for upgrading it should tell you how much it will cost you and give you the option to abort the upgrading.

However you are correct those boots are not supposed to be like that.
