Offline?

Post by Tinsicka »

Is it just me or is the server offline?

Using Gamespy under "Favorites" or "History" it shows as offline.

If I go to "Internet" it shows as being online with 14 or 15 players.

I've tried connecting from there or using direct connect and it doesn't work.

Anybody know what my problem could be?

Might be a router issue between us. Had a few people say that but it is up and people are on. Try getting to any of the ns3 servers and if that works dunno. maybe gamespy.

Server Issues

Post by Gornickthy »

I am having the same problem. I can log into 3.5 but not 4. I actually had to stop playing NS4 for a few months for the same reason recently and then it started working again until this morning. It is showing offline in my favorites, but online in the main. So yes, there is an issue that needs looking at here.

I did this

1. Open a command prompt box - go start > run > type: cmd
2. Type: ipconfig /flushdns
3. Type: ipconfig /registerdns

As suggested in another thread and it worked. Maybe it will work for you. ;)

That fixed it

Using port 60001 worked using direct connect. Thank you for the information.
