Can't Log in and get the Portal Error dialoge over and over

I've tryed to log in multiple times and have never been able to get on. I've created three new characters and each one produces the same problem.

I log in and am presented the configuration dialog and click enter Neversummer and then I get the dialogue saying that there was a problem portaling my character.

This happens over and over no mater what I do, even with new characters. I know there are problems with the database and I'm just wondering how this is fixed? I'd actually like to see the server sometime...

Well, doesn't seem to be any help here. Anyone know why I can't log on?

I'd try logging into different ns4 beta servers. Beta server 2 doesn't work very well for me sometimes, but if i go to server 3 it logs in immediately, skips the annoying login dialogue, and takes me right where i left off. Doing this has so far bypassed the bug of getting stuck in the start area, and the annoyance of having to wait 5 mins for my cd-key not to be "in use."
