Invalid Player Name

I have 7 accounts. One for each faction. They all have the same password. For some reason game spy no longer accepts the user name of my favorite account. I get a "Invalid player name or password" msg. each time I try to log this account.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any advice on reenabling this account would be appreciated.

Its the same accounts and paswords thats used on biowares site (http://nwn.bioware.com/). I suggest you snoop around that site and find somehting that might be to help for you.

I have lost 4 accounts over time to gamespy/bioware. What seems to happen, in my case, is that I could start a new account, after having five different active ones. However, a couple of weeks later, I would lose accounts being me back to holding only 5 active.

I have contacted both bioware and gamespy about losing accounts, they each blame the other. So good luck on your info gathering. I'm of the opinion that your capped at having only 5 accounts, create a new one over that limit and one of the old ones becomes, "Invalid Player Name or Password".

Ok this happens to me all the time when logging in usernames i havent used for a while and u do only get 5

However they r still there, what u do is create new account again exactly the same username and password and its all still there - it will give u a message that its not worked but ignore it close the box come in again and type the username password of the re-activated account name and u r in :_)

Hope this helps its darn confusing but it works re - post if u have any troubles

aye i missed the line that someone wrote above -- i would strongly advise NOT using the same password for diffeerent accounts, only becuase i have seen cross account glitches ( that luckily fixed themselves) when i created 2 newer accounts initially w/ the same password.

I was able to simply recreate the account using the account name that was somehow deleted (it was available again). After that the new account (with the old account log in name) got me into NS 4 just like the old one did.

Problem solved. I get to live happily ever after.

Good information, thanks. I hadnt run across the trick of remaking the account in that fashion.

I wonder now which of my accounts was made with which CD Key.
