New picture

I have a picture I want to upload. What file type and I already have the criteria for the picture. I made it in paint. I just need to know what file type it has to be and how many colours etc. etc. The one I loaded doesnt seem to be able to show on my screen in the forums. Or is it subject to acceptance?

when you click upload attachment there is also a list or link for a list of file types that it will accept. However .jpg works for images.

ok so I tried it again and I got a bunch of header errors?
Its a jpg. Im going to try saving the file as a gif and see if that works.

If you want to upload an image for everyone to see on the forum...or as a personal avatar: go to

http://www.imageshack.us

upload it there. they give you resizing options as well, and will reveal a "direct link" to the image.

In you post, click the IMG button above and then paste in the link to the image from the imageshack page....

tada.

Or get a decent ISP, Mine doesn't give much, only 15mb space from yahoo, but it seems to get the job done, haven't noticed any bandwidth limits on it yet either.

even though your problem is solved might i still suggest photobucket.com it's one of the best in my opinion, for each picture you upload it has something undearneath the picture to copy so you can put it into a forum.
