Paladin / Champion of Torm
Aye, it's working out correctly. If you weren't a Paladin prior to becoming a CoT, then you would just use your CoT levels as it's written; but if you are a Paladin also, then the two abilities stack the levels into one use per day with Paladin/CoT together (so a Pal 14/CoT 10 counts as a 24 Pally for Lay-On Hands, Smite Evil, etc, with normal Pally per-day uses).

Paladin / Champion of Torm
When I read each class, it seems that Paladins get a daily smite and lay on hands. And, CoT also get a daily smite and laying on hands. And, that levels in each would count towards the damage and heling amount.
But, it seems that the paladin smite and the CoT smite are one in the same. If I use the paladin smite, the CoT smite indicates used. Same with the laying on hands. Is this correct? It doesn't seem right, in that a fighter becoming a CoT has the same number of smites that a paladin/CoT has. I know that feats will give you more, but I'm only talking about the base abilities.
Is the game calculating correctly? Should I get 1/day or 2/day?
