divine might, shield
divine might, shield
I wanted to know if these feats were treated like magic, I know that there's a limit bonus we can get from magic ( btw how much is it ?? and is it for AC and AB ?)
I'm by no means an expert on this, but as I understand it, there's a +12 cap on bonus to an ability (str, con, etc.). I'm not sure if this is +12 modifier or +12 ability points, but I'm pretty sure it's just 12 ability points.
An example: you have a strength of x. You wear a belt of +4 str and two rings of +2 strength. Then you drink a potion of bull's strength, which gives you the full +5 to strength this time around. In total this is 4+2+2+5 = 13. You will not get the full effect of this, finishing up with your original strength + 12.
On the other hand, divine might and divine shield don't affect your ability points in any way. Divine shield might override some other AC bonuses (I know very little about the various armor types) but divine might just adds damage to your attacks, so no worries there.

Flailer, I think I might not have made clear what I meant. What I was trying to say was that you could only get a +12 to an ability from items and buffs combined. (I'm pretty sure of this, and that it translates to a +6 bonus to the ability modifier). You could have a natural (permanent) ability score of 40, which would give you a modifier of +15; there's no problem with that.
By the way, I'm not sure there's a way to even get to this cap for ability bonus from items and buffs in NS4, except by including subrace bonuses (these do count toward the cap). I haven't been around that long, however, so there might be +6 modifying items around that I don't know about.
