does everyone have this problem?

ok, here is a good ? for all of you NS peeps. server transitions have been "fixed" and u can portal freely now. is this everyone but me? everytime i try a server portal it tells me server not available and i can move now. if i manually log out then log back in under the other server it portals me. is this how it works for everyone? if i die on the other server i have to do the same thing to respawn back to avendell. another query i have is binding. i remade a wiz from garagoth and upon reaching menzo found that i can not bind to the rift shard. i thought that ally shards were bindable but only opposing faction shards were locked. anyone got any ideas?
