Locking up

Has anyone ever encountered the system locking up once the join internet is pressed??

Is there a way to repair or fix this??

need a bit more info, what OS and what video card are you using?

there is a known issue with XP and nVidia drivers. It requires a hand edit of your registry to fix. I posted the relevant details here in the forums some time ago, they should still be here somewhere.

xp pro

Geforce 4 128 MB video card

amd 2200+

Asus av7333

2GB of Kingston RAM

DSL connection

Can you give me a little more info?? I have searched a few times and nothing that you wrote is coming up for NVidia?? was it in a certain section?
