How do I get into beta?

Is it open beta? if so where do i download? if not how may i register? I'm really interested

Yes its an open beta so anyone can play it. You don't need to download anything to do so either. All you need is to have SoU installed and find NS4 on Gamespy under PW Action. Create a character, watch the cut scene and choose a faction to join.

There are certain rules about what kind of classes/alignments are allowed in each faction though. To see more about that go here:

Also NS4 allows for subraces which can either be chosen at character creation by entering the name of the subrace or choosing one at the first dialog screen. To see more about subraces go here:

P.S. You can't join the Last Alliance faction at the moment due to the server being down, but it should be up again soon (I hope).

Ah makes much more sense, do i need to buy the SoU expansion pack (im asuming yes

Yeah, it's like 25$ on amazon.com(new) and 19$ used.

About 20$ as well on ebay, and if you feel like it, there's a gold version for sale(Original NWN + SoU) for 30$ if you "buy it now", and this gives extra CD-keys in case you get banned from a server
