Regaining faction in AO

Apparently there's a bug with the job person in AO. If you loose faction and regain it he won't talk to you anymore.

Same thing in RK...my wife and I have at least 4 at 40 which lost items and are now 100% Rep bonus.Mining said he would fix it but did not get around to it.

I thought this was something that could be fixed in game? I could swear I had the same thing happen to a NC toon, and Sultan fixed it. It's been a while, though, so I may misrember.

believe there is a dm tool for dm's to use to fix the jobs..but cant do it yourself

Thank you to Hans for fixing our toons..but the bonuses you get for items are still mostly lost...

The real problem is this:




This happens after raiding dozen times to regain 100% reputation.
For toons that need only the Spot skill, part of the jobs, the DM item wont help.

In NC just talk to the npc after regaining reputation and it gives the tokens and the 4 disci 4 taunt back.

Not always true in NC, either. I lost reputation and had to be hit with the job stick before the job boss would talk to me (Praise Torm!). The stick actually reset job status and I had to redo all the jobs, but at least the guy would talk to me. I was told the jobs were a little buggy that way. Way it goes - the DM gave me all my money back, so it's cool (joke - it's free!!).

The stick resets the job status and then you can talk to the NC npc. In AO you cant.

Nor can you in RK..my toons got the items back but the job guy will not talk to me still..and lost bonuses,at least most of them.
