Windows 7 not compatable?

So, I wanted to play me alittle NS4 tonight and decided to dl my dvd, but to my horror I kept getting a non-compatable message. Anyone know if there is a fix to this?

XP compatability mode? I've never installed it on Win7 , just keyed over the install from a xp install worked fine... I'm sure one of these guys have done it.

Check Biowares forums, its all there, bout 3 paragraphs worth of stuff to do so it will run smooth on Win 7

change the shortcut to run nwmain.exe. Some have to run as administrator, but all I had to do was change the shortcut.

Other than that, run the 1.69 downloadable update, because the autoupdater will not work
