Unable to take my level

I have a level 1 Wizard, Tiefling, NE who worships Shar in the Shadow Legion. I did not specialize in any schools of magic. I'm trying to take a 2nd level in Wizard and add the following spells: Ice Dagger and Shield. I receive the following message:

Only those with true dedication to the harmony of nature and the study of shapes can gain the power of the powerful shapes.

I've tried taking Negative energy ray and ice dagger. Also neg energy ray and shield. Still get the same message.

Any clues as to why?

Doublecheck your feats tab. Sounds you actually did specialize in a school durring your initial building.

I checked my character sheet and it says, General. I'm at work now so I'll have to wait until tonight to check my feats tab.

thats the message you get when taking dragon shape on a druid......looks like lokey's code fix borked something

perhaps the same code that limits pure druid dragons to one shift a day.. it just showed up last night by all accounts

he fixed a fix..then had to fix that fix again last night..i think it borked and now you can't lvl because the fix is broken. stay tuned for dev work when he gets around
