Water Genasi bonus

I noticed that 50% cold immunity and drowning spell immunity of the Water Genasi didn't apply when shifted. Is this normal?

I believe that this applies to skin so when you shift you lose this but am not 100% sure.

Anyone else know or can verify??

When you're shifted a lot of things that are normally applied to your 'skin' don't work, some race bonus, class bonus or job bonus, quite some things that the devs added dont transfer while shifted.
