Doom / xp , gold loss

Neteya Eldaquen (im sure the spelling isnt exact, but should recognize who im talking about) raided SL about 20 mins ago, and she had doomed / greased the area right infront of the cradle. After killing her and putting the relic back, the doom kills me. Figuring no big deal, i respawn and im given the xp / gold penalty like i had been killed by a mob. Another player from SL in there also was killed by the doom, and respawned with a loss.

This a known bug and is being looked into? (hopefully)

I'm going to bet the problem her is that they had already killed her when they where killed by her doom

In all seriousness, I have to agree with what Kapwn said about getting a raise. She's a damn good player, but she's also kind enough to help you out...provided you ask nice.

Maybe you should build better so the doom doesn't hurt you? hehe... Talk about awesome strategy, should have used that in evenshire back when NS was being chain-raided.

This has happened recently with player created traps as well. I think sometimes the link is broken between spell/trap and caster/creator which causes the XP loss. Dying or logging after setting one of these may cause them to give an xp penalty. The other thing that isn't working properly with Doom is that according to the Change Log it is supposed to be restricted to 1 Doom per area like Storm of Vengeance but I don't believe it is.

Also since this spell has a duration, you have to be carefull if you cast it near a Rift Shard since you could easily surpass the 3 kill limit and even keep people from leaving the shard area.
