Regaining Faction status

Kim mentioned to me that time + raiding would help gain faction status back, but i have talked to some other people and they seem to think that raiding no longer helps...

I guess it's been 3 or 4 days, and 5 relics returned- but still red

I dont think you get credit for your own relic, maybe i am wrong in this but i always thought you only got credit for capturing other factions relics.

No, as far as I know, you do, but you get 1d10+1 (or something else like 1d4-1d8???) and you need like 20 or 30 in reputation to get back your status. As we all know NWN rolls aren't really random, thus it is possible to get always the lowest roll and thus it seems like we wouldn't progress at all.
Always assuming that script is still working.

So then is time a factor or only relics?

You get xdx+1 (?) per cap... You can regain status with your allies this way too. At least this used to be prewipe. And we all know many things disappeared after the wipe...
