When you create a gnome, you have this:
+2 Constitution, -2 Strength (at char creation, you start with 6 str and 10 con and then add points from there)
AFTER you login to server and change/apply subrace, the following are applied:
+2 Dexterity, -2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, -4 Charisma
In order to NET his:
+2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, -2 Strength, -4 Charisma
When I rolled Laufer, it worked fine (1 day after wipe). Don't know if it has changed since then, but the above calculation is kinda tricky and I have had to re-create 2 gnomes in the past cuz i screwed up the math.

Just wondering why svirf AC bonus is deflection and not dodge. Dodge seems more appropriate, not to mention more useful.

If we gave them dodge AC we'd have to nerf them somehow else since they've always been one of the most powerful races.

No more powerfull then the gith one that gets free finesse, SR, +4 dodge ac, is human so extra skill points, and similar +/- to stats.
Both are ecl 3, the gith gets free finesse and more skillpoints because its considered human - the smurf gets +2 universal saves -4 cha though but it gets blur too. Seems pretty balanced against each other ??

Gnomes/Halflings get a +1 AB/AC too.... doesn't show up on the character sheet, but its there. Svirfs get Keen Sense too...
